DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Krystal Cedeno is a certified Building Native Communities: Financial Skills for Families Trainer through Oweesta Corporation. With over five years of experience working in Indian Country, she joined the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Native Learning Center (NLC) first as Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Training Specialist in 2017. In 2021, Miss Cedeno became the Training and Development Manager for NLC, where she successfully oversaw, moderated, and facilitated 425 onsite trainings, virtual trainings, webinars, technical assistance requests, podcasts, and online professional development courses for Tribes and Tribally Designated Housing Entities from all HUD regions. In her role she is instrumental in ensuring the knowledge and skills she, her staff, and team of subject-matter experts provide to Indian Country will improve the quality of life for Native Americans, Tribes, Tribal communities, and those working with Tribal communities. She is passionate about her service to Indian Country, as well as traveling around the world, her eye for fashion, and her obsession with heels. Krystal was born and raised in sunny South Florida and lives with her Boxer mix Franny in Gretna Louisiana.
